1. General Provisions
These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the Terms) define the rights and obligations of users of the website hflinstitute.eu(hereinafter: the Website) and the provider HFL Institute, Center for Children’s Nutrition, Dr. Maja Berlic s.p., Gallusovo nabrežje 39, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, VAT ID: SI69410666 (hereinafter: the Provider).
By using the Website and submitting a registration or order, the user confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Purpose and Offer of the Website
The Website enables registration for professional events, seminars, and workshops, the purchase of paid educational or consulting services, and access to free content and notifications.
All information on the Website is for informational purposes only and may change without prior notice.
3. Registrations and Orders
Registration for an event or service is completed by filling out the online form.
The user must provide accurate and complete information. After submission, they will receive an electronic confirmation and, if applicable, payment instructions.
The registration becomes valid after confirmation by the Provider or upon receipt of payment (for paid events).
4. Prices and Payment Terms
Prices are in euros (EUR) and do not include VAT, as the Provider is not subject to VAT under Article 94(1) of the Value Added Tax Act (ZDDV-1).
Payment can be made by bank transfer (UPN/QR) or as otherwise agreed.
An electronic invoice will be sent to the email address provided at registration.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations without fees are possible up to 3 working days before the start of the event.
For later cancellations or no-shows, the Provider reserves the right to charge 100% of the participation fee, except in cases of force majeure.
If the program, date, or event is changed or canceled by the Provider, the paid amount will be refunded or transferred to another date.
6. Copyright
All content on the Website (texts, images, materials, logos) is protected by copyright and is the property of the HFL Institute or its contractual partners. Reproduction or use of any content for commercial purposes without written consent is not permitted.
7. Personal Data Protection
HFL Institute processes personal data in accordance with applicable legislation (GDPR, ZVOP-2). Data collected through online forms is used exclusively for processing registrations, issuing invoices, and sending information related to the content the user has subscribed to.

8. Liability
The Provider strives to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information but assumes no responsibility for typographical errors, technical issues, or temporary unavailability of the Website. Use of the Website is at the user’s own risk.
9. Dispute Resolution
The parties will seek to resolve disputes amicably. If this is not possible, the Local Court in Ljubljana shall have jurisdiction.
